Well.. I think sometimes it’s easier to express myself with English and this is one of those moments. I was just trying to install oracle on my Ubuntu 10.10 and i needed to modify the file from etc/apt/sources.list directory. In order to do that, i need to change it’s access right because default access right is “Read-Only”. It’s possible to change it’s access for once and for all but i prefer it to stay as it is. So i opened my Terminal, and typed some basic commands.
First of all, i root the system by sudo su command.
Then i edited file by cat >> /etc/apt/sources.list command.
So, i modified the file and it’s access right didn’t changed. Clean and simple 😉
